Susheela Raman is a London-born, globally acclaimed singer and composer known for her captivating voice and adventurous approach to music. Drawing from her South Indian roots and Australian upbringing, she blends an array of genres and collaborations, from Sufi Qawwals and Indian Classical to Javanese Gamelan and African rhythms. With eight albums to her name, including the Mercury-shortlisted Salt Rain, Raman has earned recognition as someone blazing her own unique musical path. A force on stage and in the studio, she has worked with a range of extraordinary musicians  and recently delved into the poetry of William Blake for her latest project.

Sam Mills is a London-based musician and producer with a rich history in experimental and cross-cultural music. Having started in the 1980s with the post-punk group 23 Skidoo, Mills later became known for his work with Peter Gabriel’s Real World label. In 1998, he began a creative partnership with Susheela Raman, co-composing and producing her albums, as well as directing her live performances. Over the years, Miller has helped craft Raman’s distinctive sound, blending traditional and contemporary music in innovative ways.

Chugge Khan, a skilled maestro of Rajasthani folk music, is an inspirational performer, musical director, composer and teacher, acclaimed in India and internationally. He learnt how to sing and play many instruments, from his father, Hamir Khan at an early age, along with the rich repertoire of songs and music of the Manganiyars. He also studied classical music and theory in Jaipur with Hameed Khan Kawa, founder of Musafir. Khan has created, directed and led Rajasthan Josh, a musical collective, for over 10 years, achieving popularity on both national and international stages. He has also formed Jaisalmer Boys, Sidher Brothers Ensemble and most recently, the Chugge Khan Sufi Ensemble. 

Nathoolal Solanki is a 13th-generation renowned Nagada player from the Pushkar Sangeet Gharana. He has performed extensively across India and at festivals worldwide, showcasing his exceptional talent on the conical drum. Nathoo Lal has had the honour of playing at the Brahma Temple in Pushkar and collaborating with notable artists such as Sivamani, Indian Ocean, and Susheela Raman. A prodigy who demonstrated remarkable skill from a young age, he has achieved mastery in Kuchamani Khayal.
